Teri Michelle Rogers, 17, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in Altus. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lionel Mounce officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
Teri Michelle was born July 14, 1992, in Oklahoma City. She was a Sophomore at Altus High School. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She loved music, playing softball and spending time with friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Leo Rogers; two uncles, Jimmy Rogers and Bobby Rogers; great-grandparents, Thomas Guy Holt and Mrytle Lee Holt; a great-uncle, J. C. Holt and a great-aunt, Shirley Smith.
Teri is survived by her parents of the home, Billy and LaWanda (Holt) Rogers; biological mother, Karen K. Kelly of Parsons, Tenn.; one sister, Sierra Naoma Kay Blystone; one brother, Jacob Allen Kelly, both of Parsons, Tenn.; grandparents, Dortha Rogers of Rogers, Ark., Thomas Blystone of Rotonda West, Fla., Blanche and Rocky Kelly of Altus, Renee and Leo Baker of Parsons, Tenn.; seven aunts, Loretta and Cody Cribbs of Altus, Rhonda and Mark Reuter of Altus, Margie and Andy Hebrank of Austin, Texas, Brenda and Bob Hinkleman of Pardeeville, Wisc., Carolyn and Charles Brandt of Breman, Ind., Marolyn and Floyd Bush of Altus, Rhonda Thomason of Lawton; three uncles, Eddie and Erma Rogers of Rogers, Ark., Larry and Connie Rogers of Rogers, Ark., Kenny and Susan Rogers of Altus; six great-aunts, Darlene Evans of Altus, Betty Farrows of Binger, Thelma and Jim Sandborn of Kissimmee, Fla., Francis and Shawn Morris of Altus, Valerie Holt of Altus, Janet and Fred Collier of Altus; three great-uncles, Roy Holt of Lexington, Jackie and Amy Holt of Kissimmee, Fla., and Johnny Holt of Indiana.
A family visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Kincannon Funeral Home.
