AAFB Open House and Air Show to be held Sunday

The “Wings of Freedom” Open House and Air Show will be held this Sunday, May 2 at Altus Air Force Base.

Gates will open at 9 a.m. Sunday with the opening ceremony starting at noon with the arrival of the American Flag parachuted by the U.S. Air Force Academy’s “Wings of Blue” parachute team. There will also be performances from the Fort Sill Half Section and others. Admission is free. The highlight of the event will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flying team.
