GPSR preparing for annual rodeo

The Great Plains Stampede Rodeo is preparing for another successful rodeo in Altus to be held this year Aug. 26, 27 & 28. They are now accepting contestants for the Queen and Princess competition.  Queen contestants are ages 16-22 years old, and Princess contestants are ages 10-15 years old. The girls will compete in Interview, Horsemanship & Ticket Sales. The next meeting will be held May 18 at 7 p.m., at Motel 6 in Altus. For more information, please call Tanya Cary 580-471-1255.
