Charlie Daniels to perform in Hobart

The legendary Charlie Daniels and his band will headline performers at the Annual “Celebration of Freedom” event this Memorial Day weekend in Hobart.

The activities open today, and include tours of the General Tommy Franks Museum, the Kiowa County Quilt Show, a softball tournament and a rodeo.

Saturday’s events include the Arts on the Square throughout the day.

The Charlie Daniels concert will climax the event Sunday evening. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the gate. Free admission is offered for all active duty military and their dependents as well as veterans, law enforcement officers, and fire department personnel.
