The Jackson County Commissioners held their end of the month meeting at 10 a.m. today.

Among agenda items were: acceptance of road and bridge materials bids and bids for tires and herbicides for county use; the agreement between Comanche County and Jackson County for juvenile detention at Comanche County Regional Juvenile Detention Center; conclusion of a SWODA project; consideration of the Kellpro software license maintenance agreement and normal business items. No action was taken on the cancellation of the contract for transporting juveniles. This contract has been cancelled due to the State budget crunch.
