The Sheriff's Department said they were tipped off that the person in the apartment might be someone wanted on a parole violation, so they were ready to serve an arrest warrant when they arrived at the apartment complex at about 11 a.m. Friday.
When Sheriff's deputies knocked on the apartment door, the suspect, Glenn Hyishawn Lamons, 23, jumped out of the second floor apartment window, completely naked, and took off running.
According to reports, a foot chase ensued and Altus Police were called in to assist.
Witnesses saw Lamons running in the area of Frisco and Gore Streets, just north of the apartment complex.
Within 30 minutes, Lamons was found hiding in an empty house on Wingfield Street and was taken into custody by Pete Downs.
Lamons was wanted on a $10,000 probation violation for 2nd degree burglary. He may also be charged with indecent exposure and breaking and entering.
