Woman air-evaced to OKC after Blair accident

Haley Newberry, 23, of Altus, was taken by Jackson County Memorial Hospital and admitted in serious condition with head, trunk external and internal injuries after an accident at 1:39 p.m. Wednesday in Blair. She was later air-evaced to Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.

According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Newberry was eastbound on State Highway 19 when she left the roadway for an unknown reason, overcorrected and then overturned multiple times coming to rest upright.

The report states inattentive driving as the cause of the accident.
