Chief Executive Officer of Jackson County Memorial Hospital reported at the monthly board of of trustees meeting this week that the bond issues for JCMH and Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma projects will soon be sold. The first project will be expansion and renovation of the cafeteria and a medical office building east of the Cancer Center. He said the cancer center is progressing well and is scheduled to open in May of this year.

It was also announced that Dr. Michael Krieger, a family practice physician, will be joining the practice of Dr. Noblle Ballard, and Dr. Jeannie Loper, family practitioner, will be joining the JCMH Mangum Clinic in October.

Bonnie McAskil, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, presented the annual Community Benefits Report, noting that JCMH contributed community services valued at $3,353,071 during fiscal year 2006-07. That does not include the thousands of hours provided by members of the JCMH Auxiliary.
