In other games the Tipton girls, the Blair girls and Olustee basketball teams were eliminated from the playoffs. Granite’s teams were also sent to the loser’s baracket.
Coach Brent Cummin’s Hollis Tigers defeated Burns Flat 57-52 at Merritt.
The Tigers will play the Navajo Indians in a loser’s bracket game today at 3 p.m. at Burns Flat. Navajo was a 59-54 loser to Verden on Thursday.
The Navajo girls lost a tough 54-47 decision at the hands of Verden on Verden’s home court.
Damaris Cox scored 16 points to lead Navajo. Kathryn Chapman had 10 points.
Navajo will play Hydro-Eakly at 1:30 p.m. game at Burns Flat.
The Olustee girls were defeated by Lookeba Sickles 53-28. Katrina Hatchett led the Lady Eagles in scoring with nine points.
Lookeba Sickles ousted the Olustee boys 90-57.
Jesse Sanchez paced Olustee with 14 points.
Binger-Oney defeated Blair 54-32 in a girls loser’s brackett game at Sentinel.
Tipton’s girls were defeated by Gracemont 62-26 in a game played at Western. Oklahoma State College.
The Granite teams will tonight at WOSC, The Granite girls will meet Gracemont at 6:30 p.m. The Granite boys will play Big Pasture at 8 p.m.
