Thomas E. Watson was born on December 15, 1913 on the family farm northwest of Frederick, Oklahoma to Bud and Dora (Jeffries) Watson. He attended school at Union School. He served three years in the United States Army during World War II in England and France with the 74th General Hospital. He was discharged as a Staff Sergeant with the Motor Transportation Unit. After returning home to Tillman County, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Loftis in Vernon, Texas on February 5, 1948. He spent his entire life farming and ranching west of Frederick, Oklahoma. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home; two sons: John Thomas Watson and Marlin Roy Watson and his wife Renee all of Frederick; one daughter: Dorothy Kay Cullum and her husband Daryl of Missouri City, Texas; three grandchildren: Dustin Bailey Watson of Oklahoma City, Darci Renee Watson of Edmond and Jason Patrick Roberts and his wife Allison of Austin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his paretns; two sisters: Zelma Redeker and Viola Howell; one son: James Allen "Jim" Watson; and one daughter: Cynthia Faye Watson.
