hold five town hall meetings at the end of this month.
Lucas, who represents Oklahoma's Third Congressional District, encourages the public to attend the meetings, scheduled for April 28 along the I-40 corridor.
"I look forward to visiting with my constituents in these town meetings," Lucas said. "These are my chance to hear directly from the public their concerns and thoughts about the goings-on in Washington, DC."
Lucas, currently serving his seventh full term in Congress, holds 50 town meetings annually across his district. The district encompasses 32 of the state's 77 counties, accounting for 48 percent of Oklahoma's land mass.
Lucas serves on the Agriculture, Financial Services and Science and Technology Committees and is currently Ranking Member of the Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Credit, Energy and Research. He also operates a farm and cattle ranch in Roger Mills County.
The meetings are scheduled as follows:
Monday, April 28, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Western Technology Center in Sayre;
In Elk City from 10a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Carnegie Library; from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Clinton at the Frisco Conference Center; from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Weatherford at the City Hall; in the Council Chambers; and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Canadian Valley Technology Center in El Reno.
