The Community Work Center will hold its annual Run Against Child Abuse on Saturday, April 26 at 10 a.m. The run will be held at Bomber Bowl. All proceeds will benefit the Angel Tree Fund for the Department of Human Services. The Angel Tree Fund provides gifts for foster children at Christmas through DHS. Inmates of the Work Center will run, sponsored by businesses they work for in the community. Anyone can sponsor a runner by making a donation. Everyone is invited to come watch the run and enjoy free hot dogs, chips and drinks. All donations are welcome but are not required. For more information, or to donate, contact the Community Work Center at (580) 335-2142.
