A 16 year-old cyclist was taken by private vehicle for medical attention this morning after an accident involving two pickups. According to reports, the teen was traveling too fast to stop at the intersection of Flamingo and Tamarack Road, so he laid the cycle down and let it slide. The cycle and driver then went separate ways as the cycle hit a vehicle that was stopped on Tamarack to turn onto Flamingo. The cycle was then ran over by another pickup that was traveling on Tamarack Road. The cyclist had abrasions to his arm, wrist, leg and knee, but the drivers of the two pickups were not injured.
