Ramirez, Garcia crowned Fiesta Prince, Princess

Sommer Ramirez was crowned the Cinco de Mayo Princess at Sunday’s Fiesta at the Altus City Park. Trey Garcia was named the Fiesta Prince. Also in the contest were Daniela Ortiz and Xavier Cruz Jr. Each contestant received a gift basket, and Ramirez and Garcia also received a trophy and a new bicycle. The contest was held to raise money for the Altus Hispanic Association’s Scholarship Fund.

Sommer Rae' Ramirez is the 3-year-old daughter of Ana and Joe Ramirez. Trey Garcia is the 6-year-old son of Kit and Perfecto Garcia.
