Brownies can earn badges at ‘Try-It’ Workshop set for June 7 at Quartz Mountain

Brownie Girl Scouts are invited to a June 7 workshop that reveals the wonders of plants and animals. The many uses of plants for medicine, paper and oxygen will be showcased, as well as the lives of domestic animals and wildlife. Girls can explore the world of animals and plants and complete requirements for the Plants Try-It & Animal Try-It at this fun workshop presented by Girl Scouts-Western Oklahoma.

The Plants & Animals Try-It Workshop will be held at Quartz Mountain Nature Park on Saturday, June 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. Workshop participants will meet at the Nature Center (directional signs will be posted.) The workshop is for Girl Scout Brownies only, and the cost is $1 per girl.
