Sheriff Roger LeVick will be the speaker when the Southwest Oklahoma Republican Women meet this Thursday, 11:30 a.m. at the Main Event, 919 N. Main. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The 1st annual Quartz Mountain Diamondback 100 (DBK100) will be held July 19 in Altus. Bring the family and enjoy the beautiful Quartz Mountain area for the day or the weekend. The ride will start and finish at the Altus City Reservoir. There will be a 100 mile, 62 mile and 40 mile ride. There will also be a 10 mile family ride around the Altus Reservoir.The ride will start at 8 A.M. and transit the communities of Altus, Martha, Mangum, Granite, Lake Altus, Blair and Friendship.

Red River Toastmasters will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at Club Altus, located on the Altus Air Force Base; and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, in the Francis Herron Seminar Center, at the Southwest Technology Center.
