Before moving to blair 13 years ago, i was manager of a
small apartment complex owned by farmers home
administration. My duties included not only day to day
management, but all the bookkeeping. Because they were
government owned, I was required to complete a yearly
proposed budget and keep expenditures within that budget.
I am currently the office manager at Blair's little
learning center and daycare where I have been employed for 8
years. My job consists of bookkeeping and all reports and
duties related to bookkeeping, payroll and required payroll
reports, required food program paperwork and reports,
keeping up with DHS related payments, as well as various
other duties which come up. I have completed many business related college
courses including one within the last year over budgets
and financial strategies. Once a month i gather information off deeds filed ln the Harmon County Clerks office and furnish this information to
several banks. This gives me familiarity with land deeds and
mortgages. I served for over 3 years as secretary on the Boll
Weevil bash committee. I am currently on the financial
committee for the Blair First Baptist Church where my family
and I have been members for several years.
I have the kind of experience needed to fulfill the
duties as Jackson County Clerk. I believe this makes me the
most qualified candidate and I would greatly appreciate
