Della Helen Weber, 90, died suddenly on Aug. 17, 2008. She was born May 19, 1918, in Staunton, Ill.

She was one of two children born to Fred and Francis Martin. While working as a telephone switchboard operator in Chicago, Della married Norman Henry Weber on Sept. 27,1937. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary before Norman's death in January 2005. Della resided at the Quail Ridge Assisted Living Center from January 2005. Norm and Della had three sons, Martin, Norman and Walter. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1957 when Norman's job transferred to the new Western Electric plant.

Della is survived by her loving sons and their family, son Martin and Rosalie Weber of Tulsa; grandson, Geoffery and Laurie Weber; daughters, Madeline and Gabreille of Ceder Rapids, Iowa; grandson, Jonathan and Molly Weber of Lansing, Mich.; son, Norman and (Sam) Vickie Weber of Altus; granddaughter, Kristina and Kevin Martin and children Kennedy and Kyle of Altus; grandson, Mike and Kelly Weber and daughters lsabela and Sophie of Altus and son Walter Weber of Oklahoma City. A private memorial service will be held by the family.
