Lake Altus-Lugert is on the rise again. All the recent rains have the North Fork of the Red River really flowing. Caution should be used when boating on the lake, as the heavy flow is carrying some large tree branches. According to park officials, the lake level came up over 18 inches in just two days and the river is still running fast. Even without additional rain the river will take awhile to slow.
