She had lived in Altus most of her life and attended Altus Schools, graduating in 1957. She married Billy Ross Sr. and to that union two children were born, Billy Ross Jr. and Warren Ross.
Her marriage to Ernest Jack Algeo in Stinnett, Texas, was May 25, 1982.
In addition to being a homemaker for her family, she worked several years in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Nursery, a job she enjoyed very much. Her other interests were arts and crafts, ceramics, gardening and growing house plants as well as working with silk arrangements, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Algeo is survived by her husband Ernest (Jack)Algeo of the home; her sons, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson: Billy Ross Jr. and wife Connie of Altus, Jaramie Wilson of Oklahoma City, Kristopher Ross of Altus, and Warren Ross and wife Regina of Altus, and their children Renae Ross of Boise, Idaho, and Jenna Thornton and husband Chad of Lawton, and great-grandson, Mason Thornton.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at the Lone Wolf Cemetery officiated by Chaplin Jessie Forrest.
