Benefit ride for cancer center

Wendy Coordsen from Altus Motor Sports shows Pat and Jackie Dickerson from Jackson County Memorial Hospital one of its motorcycles. Altus Motor Sports is sponsoring a benefit motorcycle and car ride Sunday, Oct. 19, beginning at 9 a.m. The event is in support of the Jackson County Memorial Hospital campus of the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma. The scavenger hunt around Altus starts at Altus Motor Sports followed by a drive to Quartz Mountain with a cook-out at Pavilion One by the paddle boats. The participant fee is $15. Proceeds go to the Jackson County Memorial Hospital campus of the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma. Pre-register at Altus Motor Sports at 2116 East Broadway, or call 477-1500.
