Farm tours part of Farm/City Week activities

Larry Robbins, Dale Roberts, Thomas Martinez and Walter Treadwell, Chairman of Farm City Week are shown looking at the equipment used to pick cotton during this harvest time in preparation for the upcoming Farm City Week activities that begin next week. There will be a farmer’s appreciation luncheon, farm tours, tractor driving, a banquet and more. This year’s theme is "Farming, Flying and Community - The Pillars of Southwest Oklahoma." Tickets are available for the luncheon and banquet at the Altus Chamber of Commerce, local banks and various locations. Call the Altus Chamber at 482-0210 to sign up or ask for more information.
