Farm City Week recognizes the importance of those agriculture related businesses and those involved in farming and ranching in our area. Chamber President Holley Urbanski said, “We like to show our appreciation for the economic impact farming and ranching have on our local area.”
The Farm City Week Banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Altus High School Cafetorium. Tickets for the banquet are on sale for $20 per person. Entertainment for the banquet will be Country Western signer Mikayla Jo Balderas. Caterer for this event is Great Western Dining.
The evening banquet highlighting the importance of Agriculture to our economic base, will be very entertaining with Maurice King serving as the Master of Ceremonies. Tickets are available at many locations throughout the county including: Public Affairs Office, Altus Air Force Base; AgPreference; Cotton Grower's Gin; Farmer's Merchants Bank; First National Bank; First State Bank; Humphrey's Coop Gin; KEYB Radio; KWHW Radio; MidFirst Bank; NBC; Sharmrock Bank; Stockmans Bank; Western Equipment, Livingston Machinery.
Eddie Wilcoxen and Dick Fontana from KWHW Radio will present the "Legends of Agriculture Award at the banquet followed by a special presentation from Colonel David Allvin, Commander, 97th Air Mobility Wing, Altus AFB.
Tickets are available for the banquet at the Altus Chamber of Commerce, local banks and various locations.
