City Council to meet in regular session Tuesday

A regular meeting for the Altus City Council will take place immediately following a regular meeting of the Municipal Trust Authority (MTA) in Council Chambers on Tuesday evening.

Agenda items to be discussed during the City Council include approving a resolution that will direct filing and notification of the publication of Supplement 27 to the Altus City Code 1980 and an executive session to discuss a recommendation from the Mayor regarding filling the position of Fleet Maintenance Director.

The MTA agenda includes an item regarding a request from OMPA to secure Board approval for financing $34,320.00 for three additional OPGW taps for the City, as well as a contract with Greg and Kim Pickett and the AMA to complete the transplantation of trees purchased in 2005.

The MTA meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
