Carla Fancher and Amber Ecorcia show their support of the Altus Bulldogs by placing a spirit flag outside today. The Bulldogs open the State Class 5-A High School Football Playoffs against Midwest City’s Carl Albert there tonight. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. If Altus defeats the Titans, they will play the Bixby-McAlester winner on Saturday, Nov. 22. If it’s Bixby, the game will be played at Hightower Memorial Stadium. If it’s McAlester, the Bulldogs would go on the road. Fans going to today’s game will need to use U.S. 62 to Lawton, take the H. E.. Bailey turnpike to Oklahoma City and turn onto Highway 240 east. Go east for 12 miles to Douglas Blvd. Go north on Douglass to 29th street. Make a right (east) on 29th for one mile and turn left on Post Road. Go 1/4 of a mile. The stadium is behind the school.
