‘Tis the season to be giving and three different community Thanksgiving dinners will be available to the public on the upcoming holiday. Major Ronald Mott of the Salvation Army is seen getting out food items for Thursday’s big Thanksgiving meal. Their community-wide Thanksgiving Dinner will be held in the dining room of its new facility located at 1100 N. Park Lane. The dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

New Beginning Full Gospel Ministries will also host a free Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 27, but at the Rotary Center. Although everyone is invited, a special invitation is extended to families who do not have food and to people who do not have family with whom they can fellowship. The dinner will begin at 10 a.m. and transportation can be provided by calling 480-0913.

Last, but definitely not least, the Church of Christ, located at 400 N. Hudson will also be serving a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, in place of its monthly meal that is usually held on the 4th Saturday of the month.
