Members of the Altus Public Schools Board of Education quickly approved all agenda items and recognized the AHS softball team for outstanding academic achievement during a regular meeting on Tuesday evening in the Board Conference Room, at the Administrative Center.

After comments about the upcoming semester break and the AHS AP Incentives Program from school Superintendent, Bob Drury, the Board approved the 403B Plan for the school district and agreed to continue an agreement with the county sheriff for the K-9 and its trainer.

In its last order of business, the school board approved Jennifer Grant as a first grade teacher and Patricia Reyna as a teacher’s assistant at Washington, in addition to a list of substitutes and volunteers.
