(AP) —The weekend is to begin with mild temperatures for much of Oklahoma even as another cold front is barreling into the state.

The National Weather Service said tonight would be cloudy with lows ranging from the 20s in northern sections to near 50 degrees in southern Oklahoma.

Saturday is to be partly sunny as the cold front moves into the state from the northwest and highs are expected from the upper 30s in the Panhandle to near 70 degrees in the southeast.

Partly cloudy skies and much colder temperatures are forecast Sunday with highs reaching only the 20s and 30s while overnight lows are to vary from below 10 degrees in the Panhandle to near 30 degrees in the southeast.
