Grace New Life Fellowship will be having quite a bit of help working on the new Altus Youth Center this Wednesday through Friday. According to Pastor Mark Olson, partners from Calexico, California and Mexicali, Mexico are coming to work on the insulation and to conduct a car wash behind the East Broadway McDonalds.

This Altus Youth Center, located at 1101 N. Forrest, needs another infusion of funds to proceed with the completion of the project. A month ago, the concrete work was done. The metal building is up and a contractor is coming this Monday to spray insulation under the roof. That will consume the last of the $100,000 that had originally been saved for the project. Now, another $150,000 is required to complete the center. Donation boxes are located around town. Donations may also be mailed to Grace New LIfe Fellowship at 1025 N. Forrest, Altus, OK 73521. Please put "Youth Center" on the memo line. Watch for car washes this next week, July 26 to July 30, that specifically support funds for the youth center.

Altus Youth Center is envisioned to be a cooperation between the churches to establish programs for the youth of our city and region. The possibilities for the center include: after school programs, evening and weekend activities, summer day camps, youth explosion events.
