The Great Plains Stampede Rodeo will be held Thursday, Aug. 26 through Saturday, Aug. 28 in Altus. Advance tickets are on sale until Aug. 25. Advance prices for general admission is $8 and children 6-10 are $5. Those under 5 are admitted free. Box seats will be $12. Advance tickets can be purchased from any of this year’s Queen or Princess contestants. They are, left to right, Princess contestants Dixie Green, 301-1366, and Tara Baker, 471-6679; GPSRA Rodeo Queen for 2009-10, Sierra Thompson; Queen contestants Haley Bryce, 481-0205; and April Cornelison, 318-2006.
