Howard, Clinton to speaker at Republican Women’s meeting

The Southwest Oklahoma Republican Women will meet Tuesday, Aug. 24, 6 p.m., at the Farm Bureau of Altus, 1001 E. Tamarack Rd.

The speakers for this meeting will be Renee’ Howard, candidate for Jackson County Treasurer and Marty Clinton, candidate for Jackson County Commissioner, Dist. 1.

Final plans for the upcoming “Beans & Baskets” fundraiser that will be held Sept. 9 with J.C. Watts as the keynote speaker will be made. A meal will be served at a cost of $5 per person.
