Discussion leaders will be Dr. Kim Anderson, OSU Extension Grain Marketing Specialist and Dr. Darrell Peel, OSU Extension Livestock Marketing Specialist. Topics addressed will be the commodity markets. These meetings are designed to foster a better understanding of how the market operates and how to best utilize the market.
The meetings will be conducted utilizing live interactive technology, meaning they can see and hear us and vice versa. In this format we will be able to have the one on one discussion that is so valuable in this topic area.
A light free lunch will be served. Lunches for this event have been sponsored by various agriculture financial institutions in Altus. Pre-registration is requested by 10 a.m., Wednesday (but not required) at the Extension Office, 482 – 0823.
