Roofing project at Altus High School under way

Construction work for the Altus High School addition and renovation is in progress. Joe D. Hall General Contractors of Elk City, is the general contractor for the project.

BRB Roofing and Manufacturing from Ft. Gibson, submitted the low bid for the roofing and was awarded the roofing project. BRB specializes in state-of-the-art standing seam steel roofing for both commercial and industrial buildings.

Approximately 54,005 square feet will be roofed utilizing ther job site formed WeatherBoss Roofing System.

The roofing phase of the project was started in July, and should be completed in mid-November, if weather permits.

This does appear to be a roof built upon a existing roof? My main concern is, how much weight will the old roof support do to its age?
