According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Christopher Oakley was standing in the eastbound lanes of State Highway 36 when he was hit by Linda Staats, 55, of Lawton, who was driving a 1997 Ford F150.
Oakley was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. He was transported to Ritter Gray Funeral Home in Lawton. Services for Oakley were held today in Tipton.
