According to Jackson County Election Board Secretary Jennifer Wilson, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. is the deadline for applications for absentee ballots to be mailed to voters for the Nov. 2 General Election. Wilson stresses that the earlier you apply the better, because at least two mail transactions are involved in the process.
Wilson said that sample ballots for the General Election are also available at the Election Board office.
