Investigators say Brown was standing on top of a cotton compressing machine, operating it with a remote control when he somehow became pinned inside the machinery.
The accident happened on the land of a farmer he was working for. A couple of other workers found him trapped in the equipment, but it's not clear how long he had been in it.
Brown was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital where he died from severe internal injuries.
