The Altus Firefighters Local 2749 has made a donation for the purchase car seats for the Seat Check Saturday event Saturday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m.to noon. This is a Safe Kids Oklahoma event sponsored by Altus Fire/Rescue and Jackson County Health Department. There will be a limited number of free car seats available. To receive a car seat, the child MUST be present with the legal guardian. Certified technicians will be on-site to conduct free safety seat inspections as well.
