The City Council will hold a special meeting on Friday, Feb. 22, at 12 noon in Council Chambers, to consider, discuss, and vote to authorize Mayor David Webb to issue an order to call for a special municipal election, to be held on April 2.
The purpose of the election is vote on whether or not the City of Altus should frame a charter for its own government, and to select a board of freeholders to draft the charter.
