SWOSU launches $6.1 million employment center through Work Ready Oklahoma

Oklahoma Human Services is proud to partner with the Department of Defense (DOD) to expand the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood-PLUS (MCCYN-PLUS) program into Oklahoma. MCCYNPLUS provides fee assistance to eligible military families, including National Guard and reserve, to increase their access to quality civilian child care providers when on-base child care is unavailable.

More than 7,000 American flags to be displayed at Cameron University to recognize members of the military

Beginning on Nov. 3, more than 7,000 American flags will be displayed across the Cameron University campus in Lawton as a lead-up to the university’s annual observance of Veterans Day. Residents of southwest Oklahoma are invited to visit CU to pay homage to the patriotism and service of America’s military while the flags are on display.
