This program is the gold standard for innovation, problem-solving, and solution-oriented approaches to address the teacher shortage nationally.

White House cornerstone laid

On Oct. 13, 1792, the cornerstone was laid for the presidential residence that would later be dubbed the “White House” in the newly designed capital, Washington D.C. President John Adams was the first president to reside in the mansion at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. The White House, reportedly so dubbed because its white-gray Virginia freestone contrasted strikingly with the red brick of nearby buildings.
