DEAR PAW’S CORNER: I’ve had to change the time of day that I visit the local dog park, because a new neighbor brings his two huge, aggressive dogs each morning at the same time as I do. They charge other humans, chase and snarl at other dogs, and make it impossible for other dogs to socialize calmly. The neighbor does nothing to control them and tells other owners that it’s their fault that his dogs are acting aggressive. To prevent injury to my dog (or myself), I now wait until after work to go. But this is inconvenient for everyone in the neighborhood.

At some point, you’ll want to share your estate plans with your loved ones — and the first step in this process may be to hold a family meeting. The best time to hold this meeting is when you’re still in good mental and physical shape, and the enactment of your estate plans may well be years away.
Under current law, if a person owes toll money, they are prohibited from renewing their vehicle registration until they pay their toll. Representative Annie Menz, DNorman, filed HB2968, which would remove the ability of Service Oklahoma to deny renewal vehicle registration for unpaid tolls. Menz says her office has received feedback from constituents about this issue, and while she appreciates Service Oklahoma, it is time to make this adjustment.
