‘Lots’ of new homes approved by council


The final plats for new homes were approved by the Altus City Council on Aug. 3.

Recommendations came from meetings in July of the Altus Planning and Zoning Commission.

Recommendations were presented to the council from Dr. Terry Mosley, Ed.D., the city’s community development director.

Gaining approval for the final plats:

  • Laurel Homes, 16th Addition, for a total of 29 lots.
  • Northridge Addition, two lots.
  • Trails at Veterans Court

Veterans Court will build housing units in stages, with 56 units slated for the first stage.
