The Duke Tigers and the Tipton Lady Tigers won the Frazer Bank Invitational Tournament Saturday night.
And while the Duke Tigers glided to a 67-15 win over Indiahoma, the Duke girls’ team lost its top scorer for the season.
The Tipton Lady Tigers defeated the top ranked and previously undefeated Duke Lady Tigers in a close, 51-48, game after Duke’s leading scorer Corky Hall went down with a separated shoulder in the second quarter.
Duke’s Jameson Richardson and Tipton’s Gabby Rodriguez were named the Most Valuable Players for the boys’ and girls’ all tournament teams.
