A homemade bomb was discovered to be the cause of an explosion at Grand Central Station in New York City March 29, 1951. While the blast startled commuters, thankfully, no one was injured. Authorities realized the bomb at Grand Central Station and five others that occurred in the months following were the work of the “Mad Bomber.”
