Duane Olson entered into the rest of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 2, 2024. While his family and friends are mourning the loss of his companionship and wisdom, we know that his soul is forever at peace with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Barbara Jean (McBride) Brown was born on March 17, 1938, in Oakhurst, Oklahoma. Nicknamed “Bobbin,” she was the last of ten children born to William Edgar McBride and Lenora Faye (Newcomb) McBride.

Dr. Morris Allen Foster passed from this life on April 26, 2024 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 92. Born and raised in Wilburton, Oklahoma he married Rosa Lou (Mickey) Pate on May 5, 1953. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. After his honorable discharge, he worked his way through college at Oklahoma A&M, graduating in the last class before the institution became Oklahoma State University. He was a lifelong Cowboys fan and had an encyclopedic knowledge of OSU athletics.

Donna I. Norton, a cherished resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and former beloved member of the Altus, Oklahoma community, peacefully passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of eighty- five.

VeEtta High, 93, longtime Altus resident, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. VeEtta was born on October 15, 1930, in Chattanooga, Oklahoma to Ed Lett and Alice West.

Orley Andy Tipton, 93, Altus, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the English Village Manor. Orley was born on August 18, 1930 in Altus, Oklahoma to Andy and Frances (Lawson) Tipton.

Kathy Elaine Freeman, 69, Altus, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing and Therapy. Kathy was born on December 21, 1954, in Quanah, Texas to Delvin and Billie (Norris) Freeman.

Annie Faye Schenkel passed away peacefully on 10 April 2024 in St. Louis MO at age 90.

Richard (Rick) William Stiffler Richard (Rick) William Stiffler entered his eternal rest on 28 February 2024, at his home in Altus, Oklahoma surrounded by his family, after a brave fight against cancer for the past 20 months. Rick was born May 20, 1959, to Harold Kenneth Stiffler and Marie Elizabeth (Marino) Petrone in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
