Geronimo — Lena Ann (Laws) Anger was born to Harriet Imogene (Brit) and Bobby Lee Laws on June 29, 1960 in Wichita, KS and departed this life in Geronimo, OK on February 23, 2024 at the age of 63 years, 7 months and 25 days.

Lena grew up in LaGrange, GA and Altus, OK, graduating from Troup County High School in Georgia. She married Arthur Scofi and to the union 2 sons were born. They made their home in Georgia but soon moved back to Altus. She had received her LPN and did medical transcribing in Altus.

She started seeing Gerald Arthur “Art” Anger Jr. in 2005 and the moved to Geronimo, OK in 2008. She and Gerald married in October of 2015 in Lawton. She last work at the Community Center in Geronimo. Lena enjoyed doing art projects, watching movies and the True Crime Network. She spent lots of time on health blogs for her own benefit and to benefit others. She loved music and attending concerts. She loved her sons and especially her grandbabies, as well as her boxer, Izzy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and 2 brothers, Bert Lawrent Briney and William Rodger Briney. Survivors include her hus- band, Gerald “Art” Anger of the home; 2 sons, Dylan Lamar Scofi and Brittney of Geronimo, Raleigh Scofi and Kennedy Michelle Goettsche of Lawton; 4 grandkids, Madison, Landon, Alyssa and Kayson; her father, Bobby Lee Laws of Altus; a sister, Vicky Bernice Holstrom of California; other relatives and friends. The Family will celebrate her life at a later date.
